Witchy Business: 4 Crystals for Burnout

By Megan Winkler, The Good Business Witch

Let’s get witchy, y’all! Today, I’m giving you a list of some of my favorite crystals to support your anti-burnout journey. While they’re not going to cure you of burnout, their energies may support you, AND they’re great tools for meditation and journaling practices.

Green Moss Agate

I adore moss agate. My moss agate wand lives on my desk, and I hold it often during client calls or while recording my podcast. British farmers used moss agate as long ago as the 18th century to attract prosperity to their land. Some hung it from branches of trees or their cattle’s horns as a good luck talisman.

I find it a wonderfully grounding stone, and I’m continually drawn to it when I frequent my favorite crystal shop. It’s said to help bring balance to your mind and emotions, and its green color resonates with the heart chakra.

In Feng Shui, moss agate brings the elements of earth, air, and water with it. And research is showing that being around the color green can help combat sadness and low energy levels. Pretty cool, right?

Black Tourmaline

Black tourmaline is a go-to for most witchy folks, and it’s been used for as long as the 1400s as a protective stone. There’s something so soothing about this stone, and it’s said to transform anxious feelings.

Black tourmaline connects with the root chakra and is known as a stone that can absorb negative energies. It can help build self-confidence, reduce fear, and increase inspiration. I love to pop a small piece of it into my makeup bag when I’m traveling to keep the bad vibes away. It’s also a must-have when venturing to a haunted location!

Serpentine

The first time I came across Serpentine was when I visited RitualCravt in Denver a few years ago. I was captivated by the smooth, cool green stones and grabbed three for myself. Serpentine supports the heart chakra. It’s also known as a Kundalini stone, and it can support the release of that coiled energy at the base of the spine.

Some believe that it helps establish control over one’s life. You may also find it supportive during meditation.

Lepidolite

Recently, I’ve become slightly obsessed with lepidolite. It’s a natural lithium source and has a lovely lavender color that I adore. Lepidolite is said to give you a ton of good vibes, harmonize your emotions, and bring some peace to internal chaos in your mind.

Lepidolite is also known as the Stone of Transition, the Peace Stone, and the Grandmother Stone – it’s sweet, nurturing, supportive, and stabilizing.

What’s your favorite crystal for combatting burnout and stress?
