The word Reiki combines two Japanese words: “rei” (universal) and “ki” (life energy). The Principles of Reiki

Reiki is based on five guiding principles, often recited as affirmations:

  2. Just for today, I will not be angry.

  5. Just for today, I will be kind to every living thing. These principles encourage mindfulness, gratitude, and compassion—qualities that enhance the healing process.
